When to Write

• Metadata corrections — If an author name, title, or category seems incorrect or incomplete. For example, you may notice a misattribution in a work like The English works of Thomas Hobbes of Malmesbury, Volume 03 or a missing subtitle in a dialogue of Plato. Even small details, such as a publication date or translator credit, can affect discoverability.
• File or reading issues — If an ebook fails to open, displays garbled text, or does not render properly on your device or browser. This includes problems with specific formats such as EPUB, PDF, or MOBI. We recommend testing across different readers to isolate the issue.
• Accessibility problems — If you encounter barriers using assistive technologies such as screen readers. We strive to make our texts navigable, and your feedback helps us improve. For instance, missing alt text on diagrams or improper heading structure can hinder comprehension.
• Privacy questions — If you have concerns about how your data is handled when you browse or download. We take your privacy seriously and are happy to explain our practices, including what information we collect and how it is used.
• Copyright or rights concerns — If you believe a work in our catalogue may not be in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you hold rights to a text and wish to discuss its inclusion. This is especially important for works like The Sexual Life of Our Time or The Woman Movement, where copyright status may vary. We respect intellectual property and will review any claim promptly.
• General editorial observations — Suggestions for new categories, reading companions, or other improvements are always appreciated. For instance, if you have ideas for a companion to Hypatia or a thematic grouping for works on ancient philosophy, we would love to hear them.

• the full title of the ebook (e.g., Iamblichus' Life of Pythagoras or Arabic Thought and Its Place in History)
• the file format you tried (e.g., EPUB, PDF, MOBI)
• the device or browser you were using (including version if known)
• a clear description of the problem, including any error messages or unexpected behaviour
• if your message concerns copyright, please include any supporting information about your rights or the work’s status, such as publication details or jurisdiction
